A’s Khris Davis could return from injury Saturday San Francisco Chronicle
Khris Davis is eligible to come off the 10-day injured list Saturday. Whether the A’s main designated hitter does so or not was uncertain as of Friday afternoon. Davis suffered a left hip/oblique contusion while making a grab in foul territory as a left fielder in Pittsburgh on May 5. He tried to play through the injury, intermittently taking a few days off, before the A’s finally placed him on the IL on May 24, retroactive to May 22.
