She is supporting the Facilities Department Sustainability Team to spread awareness about sustainability at OUSD!As called for by the 2020 Climate Emergency Action Resolution, OUSD is crafting a comprehensive Sustainability Policy and Sustainability Plan to serve as guides for implementing sustainability solutions across the District. The policy will support the District’s transition to 100% clean energy by 2030 and help prepare our schools to fight the effects of climate change. The initiative brings together the Sustainability Task Force and the Sustainability Advisory Council’s (SAC) collective efforts to combat the Climate Crisis and its impact on our schools and communities.The voices of our students, families, staff, and community members are essential in establishing a bold Sustainability Policy that represents the needs of our schools and communities.
