Jack Del Rio, Ex-Raiders Coach, NFL Network Analyst Thumbs Down Clelin Ferrell

The former Oakland Raiders Head Coach (and last one to take the Silver and Black to the playoffs) Jack Del Rio, is a new NFL Network analyst. He was asked to give his view of the Raiders highest 2019 NFL Draft Pick Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell.

Del Rio, who was fired by Raiders Owner Mark Davis and replaced by Jon Gruden (and a $100 million contract), hesitated, saying “let me think”, before choosing thumbs down.

Why?

“Well, I like the player,” Del Rio said, “but at pick 4?”

Many believe this was Raiders General Manager Mike Mayock’s only mistake. He should have taken Devin White, who said he thought the Raiders were going to do just that.
