I saw this posted at the Cleveland Heights listserv:

Hello Neighbors,

I am PTA Co-President of our local elementary school and I wanted to give you another opportunity to give to our local school age children directly by supporting them on this exciting project. They are joined by kids from schools in all around the Bay ranging from San Francisco Tiburon and Marin.

At Cleveland Elementary School , we have a tradition of sending our fifth graders to the MOSAIC PROJECT , where they spend a week bonding and learning how to be leaders in replicating our school values of inclusiveness and responsibility. As an Oakland Public School, all children will have access to this trip whether or not their families can afford the trip. We ask that you support our Title I school to develop our student leaders and teach them to become the change they want to see in the world and our city!
As a historically diverse treasured neighborhood school our kids truly represent Oakland and the world!
