She’s offering this completely baseless idea that she can make the A’s be sold against the wishes of Don Fisher, Lew Wolff, and Billy Beane, all of whom see better economic pastures in Las Vegas, than in Oakland.At what point is this Fantasyland rhetoric from Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao, ever going to stop in its tracks?The A’s are on path to secure private placement financing in Las Vegas. The ballpark design has been done. This relocation is wanted by Major League Baseball. And Oakland under Mayor Thao continues this talk as if it is completely unhinged.
