While Las Vegas Plans NFL Stadium Groundbreaking, Oakland Raiders Still Doing Site Soil Analysis

Imagine that you are going to purchase the land to build a home on. The first thing one does is have a soil and site study done. You do that before you sign the contract to buy the land.

Now, get this. The Oakland Raiders had an option on the Russell Road site. Then, on March 31st 2017 or days after receiving NFL approval to attempt to move to Las Vegas and build a new stadium, the Raiders started their soil and site analysis.

Then, after some months, on May 2nd, the Oakland Raiders officially purchased the same Russell Road site they were doing the analysis on. Right?

Now the Raiders are STILL doing the site anaylsis and it’s October. Think about it.
