Central Subway For Muni Under Construction Beneath SF Union Square
The 1.7 mile Muni Central Subway is being built under Union Square in San Francisco. At a cost of $2 billion, it will connect South of Market with Chinatown via light rail, thus making it SF’s first crosstown subway. It’s to be completed not next year, but by the year 2020. via IFTTT
