Donald Trump Inauguration Speech American Carnage Grim Look At USA

Donald Trump’s speech talks of American Carnage and gives a view of the USA that brings up the spectre of The Grim Reaper. It ignored the fact that President Obama gave Donald Trump an economy that was in excellent shape: 4.7 percent unemployment and 3.4 percent growth in gross domestic product. The “American Carnage” idea trashes the city, and in particular Detroit, when he talks of urban sprawl there, and windswept plains in Nebraska. His idea of “America First” is a good one, but then Trump does not at all give a blueprint for how to get their without driving the economy into recession. Throwing up a protectionist wall, rather than subsidizing American business to help reduce the cost of production, will encourage businesses to drive up prices and ignite a level of inflation we’ve not seen in some time. And that would lead to recession and a dramatic increase in the unemployment rate. Not the right path for America. Stay tuned. via IFTTT
