The multifaceted executive, artist and philanthropist Taj Tashombe, is Founder and CEO of Canyon Oaks which is a diverse collection of brand houses with an emphasis on the arts, sports, entertainment, elevated content, experiences and advisory services. His career has included leadership experience in global brand marketing, communications, strategy, DEI, government and external affairs with Toyota, Hilton Hotels, Hyundai and the Oakland A’s. He is also Founder and Creative Director of House of Tashombe, which is a bespoke lifestyle brand featuring suiting, evening-wear and luxury goods for men and women.
As an executive grounded by his community roots, Tashombe serves on many local and National boards including as Ambassador to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C., Sr. Fellow at UC Berkeley’s Institute of Transportation Studies, board member of Visit Oakland, East Bay Regional Parks Foundation, and National advisory board member of Positive Coaching Alliance.
Tashombe has been recognized for his commitment to servant leadership and was a 2019 San Francisco Business Times ‘40 under 40’ awardee and in 2021 was honored by the Oakland NAACP with the Black Male Achievement Award.

The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary, thus less chance for Oakland News Online Blog, Zennie62 YouTube vloggers to be robbed. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners. This process is entirely within YouTube terms of service, where embedding of videos for use on websites and platforms is allowed and encouraged.
