That’s far less than the 162 MLB Season Games, 81 of which are at home. So, that’s a loss of 65 games, and the Roots don’t draw the same number of sponsors or vendors and the City of Oakland has not shown the gumption to want to help the roots attract any.So, the Oakland Roots are sink or swim at the Coliseum. For one or more years. The Roots want a tiny home in the parking lot. If Oakland had a good economic development program, it would be at work, working with the African American Sports and Entertainment Group AASEG on a plan for the Oakland Roots that is viable and sustainable.Oakland does not have a good economic development program.Stay tuned.
