Hidden camera found in bushes of Alhambra home

A camera was found hidden in bushes Monday night outside a home in Alhambra where an attempted burglary was reported. Alhambra Police said camouflage cameras are used in residential burglaries to allow thieves to gather information about homeowners’ daily routines and know when to strike. Hidden cameras have also been found outside homes in Garden Grove, Glendale, Chino Hills, Lost Hills, Calabasas and other residential areas.

“We did it!” That’s the reaction from a San Fernando Valley resident who started a grassroots campaign to repair the beloved “Snoopy Bridge” in Tarzana. After Kirk Donovan pulled together a coalition of “Peanuts” fans, the city of Los Angeles is funding the effort to repair the artworks by Charles Schultz. Most of the panels were vandalized with some having bullet holes right through them.
