If Oakland elected officials were out-to-lunch in not putting forward a more powerful effort to keep the city’s sports culture, and that means their teams, the hot light of that fact will be felt most this week and through the next two weeks.
Starting today, June 1, 2017, ESPN and for the first time Fox Sports have set up television broadcasts in Oakland. ESPN brings its popular show First Take back to Lake Chalet and has MC Hammer and E-40 on as guests today – in fact, they were on an hour ago:
