The fire broke out on Baseline Road around 2 p.m. Cal Fire’s Nevada-Yuba-Placer Unit said they believe the fire started in the attic and 25 mph winds pushed it through the rest of the home. A mother and two children were in the house at the time of the fire but were able to get out safely with their animals, Cal Fire said.
