Five people jumped out of a stolen Kia Soul at the end of a chase in Hawthorne. The chase was on the 110 Freeway and nearby streets in southern LA County. In light Fourth of July traffic, the driver reached speeds around 90 mph on the freeway. The chase turned into a neighborhood search when the driver and four passengers stopped on a street and ran from the Soul.
