An Oakland assembly member is proposing a new law that’s designed to tackle what she calls Ticketmaster’s monopoly over event ticket sales. The bill, AB 2808, was introduced by Assemblymember Buffy Wicks. Its supporters on Monday will hold a press conference at the Capitol to make the case for why it’s needed.
