OaklandNewsOnline.com is the original blog post for this type of video-blog content.Description: Oakland Goes Outdoors (OGO) is a mission-driven program embedded within and working in partnership with Oakland Unified School District (OUSD), dedicated to creating equitable, curriculum-aligned outdoor learning experiences for students during the school day and beyond.Since launching in 2018, OGO has made it possible for thousands of students, many for the first time, to explore nearby parks, forests, and shorelines as spaces for learning, connection, and growth.These immersive nature-based experiences foster social-emotional development, promote physical and mental well-being, deepen community and belonging, and build environmental literacy and stewardship.In the 2024–2025 school year, OGO facilitated 268 outdoor learning experiences across 23 school sites, reaching over 6,200 students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with a particular emphasis on middle school students at a critical stage in their development. In fact, every middle school student is able to experience multiple trips throughout middle school, ensuring consistent, scaffolded exposure across grade levels so students build skills, confidence, and environmental literacy year after year.The impacts are immediate and enduring: reduced stress, stronger peer and teacher relationships, increased academic engagement, and a growing sense of belonging in the outdoors. These experiences become a bridge to future park visits, to healthier habits, and to a deeper connection with place.This 4-minute film offers a window into OGO’s impact, highlighting the students, educators, staff, and partners shaping a new model for equity in outdoor learning. It’s a story of community, connection, access, and the power of nature to inspire wonder, wellness and resilience in Oakland’s youth.

The overall objective here, on top of our is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours – is the use of the existing YouTube social graph on any subject in the World. Now, news is reported with a smartphone and also by promoting current content on YouTube: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary, or having a camera crew to shoot what is already on YouTube. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
