The new black-owned Pierre Pierre Restaurant was ready to be the centerpiece eatery for Downtown Oakland First Friday patronage. And by evening, it was just that. Two people who were just eating were wounded by gunfire while dining. The victims were transported to different hospitals and the assailant or assailants were not identified. But given the rate of crime, where were the Oakland Police? Where’s the Oakland Police Mobile Substation? Why were there no police nearby? We need special funding for a program specifically created to stop these kinds of crimes before they start. Let’s talk about this and solutions. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved.
