Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Joint Powers Authority Meeting On Forever Oakland Raiders

This is the first hour of the meeting held today, Friday July 28th 2017, starting at 8:30 AM, at Oracle Arena.

The “Forever Oakland” discussion item, where the objective is to have the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Joint Powers Authority as a supporting “friend of the court” to the planned legal attack on the Oakland Raiders Las Vegas relocation effort, was listed as “Agenda Item 6A.”

While only for discussion, some believed a vote could be done today – not so.

In attendance were Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Joint Powers Authority Executive Director Scott McKibben, JPA Chairman and Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley (District 5), Oakland City Council President Larry Reid (District 7), Alameda County Supervisor and President of the Board Scott Haggerty, Oakland City Councilperson Lynette Gibson McElhaney (District 3), and board members Yui Hai Lee, Chris Dobbins, Christin Hill, and Ignacio De La Fuente.
