CES Las Vegas 2020 Flashback: Playkast Social TV App: Brett Larkin Interview At CES 2012
Brett Larkin sat down with this vlogger over lunch at CES 2012, and to talk about the Playkast Social TV App. She said that the tech, which rewards you for watching TV, is at “the intersection of the entertainment industry and entertainment franchises. We want to reward you for watching TV. I’ve watched every episode of Dexter, but right now I don’t get anything for that. So, what we’re reading is a , you know, a rewards program that basically rewards you for watching the TV shows you want to watch anyway.”
Fast forward to today, and Playkast, the firm founded by Steve Hoffman, is still around according to Crunchbase., but has just Steve listed as connected with it.
