Oakland SEIU Union Local 1021 To Back Mayoral Challenger To Mayor Libby Schaaf
Earlier, about over a month ago, I here at Zennie62 and Oakland News Online reported that the Oakland Service Employees International Union , SEIU Local 1021, was to support and back a candidate to run against Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf. Now, this was confirmed by SEIU Local 1021 Representative Frankie Izzo in my interview with her on Friday about the Oakland Strike. But it’s not known who the person will be – Izzo favors Oakland At-Large Councilmember Rebecca Kaplan.
